Had lunch with the cousin yesterday at lee loi fatt cause i was craving for ABC :) then, we went to flur- de- lys ( is that how you spell it?) for some cake.Thats the messy mud pie which i thought was very awesome. its pretty soft and has a creamy touch with oreo as its base. awesome stuff.
We went ddr-ing for abit and got heated up and sweaty =.='' but good exercise..Eversince the holiday started my biological clock has gone topsy turvy i practically sleep at 2am or later and wake up at 11pm. the earliest ive slept this week was at 10.30? ( i was very proud of myself) but unfortunately ive not been able to do the same. its not that i dont want to sleep okay but i CANT sleep =.='' so annoying. and my eyes bags are just getting from bad to worse =.=''
I cudnt sleep again last night so i brought Patches in the room for some company ...........
While i read my Dracula book again. It's a pretty nice book. i bought the kiddy version cause i don't really like to read books but when i go to the book store i get all excited and start buying books. But, when i bring them home i take forever to finish it =) right now, there are still a few books on my shelf nicely covered in plastic cause i havent even finished one book to carry on to the next one. HAHA. fail.
Patches when running around the room and going under my blanket searching for i don't know what and before i even started reading my book...
she fell asleep already =.="" kek dao! how come everyone can sleep but i cannot sleep??!!!Even my cat who sleeps like 70% of the day can still sleep like a pig -.-'' i think God is punishing me because i eat so late at night and also helping me in a way cause if i don't sleep so early i can get rid of the fats. HAHA. hmm..
But, it does get really lonely lo late at night when i'm the only one awake. sighs.I didn't post anything about my chinese new year in kuching.
I go back to kuching for chinese new year every year cause my grandparents are there so yea.
Kuching was were i was born, it has alot of good food that makes me gain weight like nobody's business and its also a place where alot of embarrassing moments took place. aiyo! did i ever tell you about the time i entered the wrong toilet?? wana hear wana hear? even if you don't want to hear ill still tell cause i feel like telling. HAHA.
Okay i can only remember this very vaguely cause it happened almost a year ago and i only thought about it last night when i was staring at the ceiling in darkness why desperately trying to sleep. so anyhoos, i went to THE SPRING and needed to go to thte toilet and i don't know why i so blurr la. u see as the picture below illustrates, if you turn right u enter the boys toilet and if you turn left u enter the girls toilet and the cleaning lady was sitting in the middle and from the look on her face she looked pretty tired >.<
anyways, you have to walk through a straight walkway before you reach this area and what i did was turn RIGHT when i reached there. The woman saw me go in but she didnt say anything. I didnt see anyone in the toilet and den i was telling myself as i looked around, " hmm.. why does this toilet look so different from the toilets in the rest of the supermarkats lo. Maybe cause spring is like a big shopping mall then the toilets different also lo. but, how come the walls are blue hor? " i turned around to examine the area around me then! i saw that peeing thing! i don't know what its called but you know that one where the guys pee into? T.T and too my horror a guy walked in as my brain told me to get the hell out of there!so embarrassing okay! lucky nobody was doing their business there lo ;S or ill get nightmares for a month! ooh, and when i walked out from the boys toilet the cleaning lady who was sitting in the middle there was staring at me with awe =.="" SIGHS.
so, back on the topic of chinese new year!
( i went from talking to toilets to talking about food. hmm.. not a very good order huh? )
we had steamboat during tuan yen fan..
this is my yee shang. i don't really like to eat yee shang i just like to make a mess out of the place when i stirr it HIGH HIGH HIGH ! thats kinda the point right? but anyways i think yee shang taste funky lo. i only pick on the salmon pieces. HAHA. but im not that selfish la i leave plenty more for other poeple 0=) (as if!)
good food good food! have i told anyone of my love for fish cakes? I love fish cakes. my mom used to buy large pieces of fish cakes which are like as long as 3/4 of my palm and ill just nimble on it while watching tvee. HAHA. explains how i got so fat.
It was very lau juak cause i have alot of uncle and aunties and cousin so we ate outside at the parking lot. eh, the food above is not all we ate okay? this was just the kids table. there's another adult's table which is also filled with large plates of food. we could feed an army with all those food! HAHA. i helped prepare the food since the afternoon and its very tiring lo. you take one whole day to prepare the food and people just gobble it up in 2 hours * phew, wipes sweat*
Even as there's recession going on and stuff still got alot of fireworks as usual at 12 midnight but i got really annoyed by it cause its so smoky and loud and noisy. I used to be soo amazed my fireworks id stand outside and stare at them with my ears covered and still enjoy it despite how loud the noises are, so loud it could make you go deaf =.='' i think these are one of the symptons of growing old la.. sighs.. WRINKLES!
This is my chinese new year breakfast. all vege only. it's like this rule or tradition that we're not allowed to eat meat for half a day. My family always cooks the same dish and one of my favourite dish is mua chi. its the one in the white bowl next to the green pes :p its very sweet but i only eat it once a year so nevermind la! :D
Then after collecting our ang paus and after eating breakkie we started to camwhore! hehe. these pictures are taken by self timer. i think self timers are one of the best inventions yet!
This is at THE SPRING where they had a very pretty decoration. That bridge is called 'jing ren chiao' .Why can't brunei have pretty decoration also?! and NBT didnt even do a chinese new year decoration this year :( decorations at NBT is something i always look forward to during a festival. they always have the prettiest deco. sighs. 
I only saw one lion dance performance there. when i was young i used to love these things but doesn't everyone? my uncle or dad, whoever was driving would bring us kids to hunt for lion dance.How, you ask? well, we wouldjust casually go out to lunch or something then if we hear the lion dance beats or if we see the lion dance lorries we would follow them to where ever they go. =) aww, i miss those times. Haven't done that in years.
10 days later i was on my flight back to brunei and can you guess what they served for breakfast?
